The pastor had another engagement and the timing (late and waiting to be served) made him late. No partying time! They didn't serve my head table (parents, grandparents, pastor) without arguing in front of guest with my wedding planner.
We had to end at 10:30 (which we already knew, appropriately planned for and had busses pick up our guest on time) but the lateness cut into the time we had as a reception. Because it started late, the sun had technically went down before I got all my photos in so that was cut short. When my ceremony finally started they tried to knock my mom down by walking thru my ceremony. There was no-one there to get things on track. They (staff) told their wedding party to go into my reception space(while my decorator is decorating) bc there was AC in there bc the bride felt sick but she paid for an entire different space that was outside. My wedding didn't start until 6:15 because another wedding began 2 hours late. After visiting the resort in December I made it quite clear I wanted my wedding to begin at 5 so that I still had time to take photos. The Hibiscus Lodge however, was another story. The photos were done of the things they did on their own or in groups.
